I cannot get the search engine to work so sorry if this has been posted in the past, if it has than shoot me the link.

I am taking my wife deer hunting with me for the first time ever this year and I was going to buy a ground blind, but dont have alot of money to spend so I was looking at the Ameristep Doghouse at walmart for $79.99 anyone ever use this blind that can let me know if it is worth buying.

I've been using the doghouse for several years now and it dosent get much easier to pop up and tear down, but bow hunting out of it is pretty tight. Well worth the money though....

I have one that I use on occassion and it works well for me. I assume you look to have your wife with you during firearms season? You can make it work for bothof you during firearms, but IMO it would be too tight with a bow. Look around as there are many nice blinds out and you may want to consider paying spending more on a bigger blind, such as the one in the link below.

I own one of these blinds and have to agree, i haven't founda blind that sets up near as easy as this one. I also have to agree though that it is kinda small... But i do recommend the doghouse because of its easiness to set-up and price.

I appreciate your input. I got on cabelas website and read some reviews on the Doghouse and it seems to have really good reviews although they say it is small. But my wife is just an onlooker this year so I think I am going to try it out. Thanks for all your input!!!!
