manuman... that's absolutely incredible!!!
I guess since my oldest son is four and I know it won't be long until we start sharing some memories together in the woods, this really had me captivated! Thanks for sharing!

My son is 15, and he was my first born, although he has an older adopted brother, and a younger one.The other 2 need no motivation, but there is somethjing differnet about the first born, not a preferential difference, but jsut a differentperspective due tohis status.I have always wanted us to hunt together, but for whatever reason, he hasn't shown a lot of interest until now---and you'll never gues his name--Hunter!!! Just spending this time together
( something that us father's can only understand)and it still being exciting inspite of a little sapling getting in the way of a kill, I still count it as very successful and memorable. He is already looking forward to us going again--and for it to cool down a bit!
I am looking forward to many more such days--hopefully a few without saplings!!!
Thanks everyone for the kind words.
