anyone going to camp ripley for a bowhunt. This will be my first year going and i was wondering if anyone had any tips for a first time hunter. Thanks

guhotbigracks. Good luck. I have never been but seen a lot of tips on info on here before and on a Minnesota specific site. Just type fishingminnesota into google and you'll get it. Most guys say if it's your first time, just walk around the first day to scout and sit tight if you find an area where the thousands of other bowhunters aren't and let them push the deer to you once they get down for lunch and give up early, etc. Good luck again, they take some monsters out of there every year.
