I have taken alot of deer and carp with a bow but never a turkey. My son finally talked me into trying with my new setup. I have watched several videos to see where the best shot placement is but cant come up with any conclusions. I have seen frontal, side and rear body shots is there one prefered? I am a decent shot but I can only hit the head with a 3 1/2 #5.

Might try and ask these guys/gals, a lot of people here are deer hunters, there are a few that turkey hunt though. But I would try the turkey section.

Here's another one for anatomy and placement. Doesn't matter how it stands if you take out the organs. Study the anatomy and you'll have your answers.
