Listen for his new roost sight.
And as stated give it a few days.
One thing I have learned. If more than one Tom comes in and you shoot one - sit still do not move - let that Tom that was with the one you shot move off on his own. And ya can come back and hunt him in the morning!

It's hard to say for sure but I would definately leave the spot alone for the day. Maybe go close by in the evening and see if you can spot anything or hear anything. I have had great luck with evening hunts. Good luck and make sure to let us know how you do!

I got my answer today. I walked by the spot where he was roosting the night before and jumped him. He was huddled down in the grass and shot out like a pheasant. I don't think he was too worried, so I might try him again tomorrow from a different direction.
