Let 'em go and let 'em grow!!!!!!!!!!!

With the season quickly approaching it is now the appropriate time to spread the message once again...it's time to come out of the cave, step into the light, mature as hunters, do the right thing, and let 'em go and let 'em grow
Maybe I'll kill all does again this year maybe I won't .Might not hunt out of tree stands this year just get the wind in my face and still hunt and shoot what ever I feel like. Maybe I'll use natural ambush spots and decide not to shoot over twenty yards now that's a rush.

I've seen expert and novice thrown around and the determing factor is rack size.
Is a guy any more anexpert because he gets permission/ownsa small piece ofland and plants food plots, feeds the deer supplements doesn't allow anyone on the land, then the guy that carries a long bow doesn't use any modern toys hunts public land and shoots whatever he wants.
What right do you have to change the way the second guy hunts?

I agree that the original quote was bold. You should never tell people what they should do. You show offer it and its benefits to each hunter. It is up to the hunter to make his own judgement if it will be a benefit to his own hunting situation.

Mature as a hunter? Well, then, you who put so much stock in rack size still have some maturing to go. You're skilled intermediates, but not fully matured. I have to say this article sums up my thoughts quite nicely.

I really hope that nobody's trying to label fellow hunters. Hunting is SO personal.....it can't be done. I fit none of those categories.....yet a little of all of them, probably.
You can not tell a man that's shooting 1.5 yr old deer that he will "mature" as a hunter, one day.....and start targeting larger, older deer. It isn't fair. Only HE knows what his goals are.....and if he's achieving them.
I used to let this bother me, BADLY. I don't care, anymore.
I'll use Atlas as an example.......only because he's vocal on this subject a lot. He's probably as content a hunter as we have on this site. Thats "mature".
