what do you guys say to the person who has never shot a buck with his bow? Would you bash him for shooting that little buck that was just legal (3 points on one side)? I am in this state right now. I am all about deer managment, but i never have shot a buck because this is my first season bow hunting. I am all about letting this little ones walk, but i just want to break the ice and shoot a buck.....am i wrong for taking that 1 1/2 year old?

You need to realize that not everyone can just let deer grow and not all want to. Some people hunt for the meat and that is it. Some people have a small portion of land that is impossible to manage with neighbors all around that shoot anything that moves. Letting them go and grow only works with the right conditions which not everyone has.
