Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day....Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.
Great story Mo. thanks for sharing. That young man will forever remember this day and who knows where the adventures with his stick and string will take him.

Great story Don. I think the kids are the only reason I still take the time to help out around the shop these days. I will probably end up with my NFAA level 2 cert soon, I really would like to start getting into coaching specifically to work with kids. It's such a joy to see their enthusiasm. We do birthday parties about once a month at the shop I help at and I always try to make myself available for these. You should see the grins.........

That is a great story Mobow!!! I have been shooting with one of my neighbors lately. I believe he is 10.His dad is clueless when it comes to shooting. But I love it when his dad comes over and sees the improvement and excitement on his sons face. I just wish I could get his dad to give it a try.

That's pretty ironic, it happened to me too today. A dad asked me, after setting his son's first bow up, to go help his son with his form. I more than happily accepted, I kinda walked him through it before even drawing back. I then told him to draw it back, he drew it back and his form was almost absolutely perfect. After about 30mins he was grouping about 2" at 15yds
