Default Weight/arrow/broadhead

I have a co-worker who shoots a Bow-Tech set at 84 lbs. He told me his arrows are 30" and the weight is 5g. per inch with a 145g broadhead.

I could be entirely wrong but that light of an arrow with that much poundage and that heavy of a broadhead seems like his arrows will really get out of shape upon the release.

Does that sound like a good hunting setup?

I have just the opposite. I shoot 60 lbs. with 8.2 g. per inch (CX Maxima Hunter) and 100 g. broadheads.

What do you guys think?

Default RE: Weight/arrow/broadhead

He most likely meant 5grs per LB of draw weight.
Which means that he is shooting an arrow that weighs 420grs. Entirely possible and that's what I'd guess he intended to say.
