when I go deer hunting I scent up good. I wash my clothes in no scent soap, put them in a scent lok bag with about 3 fresh earth wafers and then right before I go out to the woods I take a shower in no scent soap. I spray my boots down with no-scent spray before I walk into the woods. I just want to know how many of you here think I am crazy and how many do the same exact thing. What is your views on being scent free? Is it in people’s heads or does it work? I think it really works what are some of your opinions.

No you're not crazy at all. That is exactly what I and many of the others do before going into the woods. I'll admit that lately I've been wearing my hunting clothes when I leave the house where I used to keep them in a Tink's carbon bag until I got out and was ready to walk into the woods. I haven't been winded yet, even by animals directly downwind. You can't be too cautious when it comes to scent!

I do the same. If they hear you, they're nervous. If they see you, and you don't move, they're nervous. If they smell you, THEY'RE GONE!!

I do the same thing you do except I no longer use the earth scent wafers, I feel they are a bit too strong, and I also use scent lok. I feel the best scent is no scent at all.
