Heck mine was the bggest buck (bodied) in my woods. He walked by me at 20 yds....last day of the season. I HAD to "pass", though.....out of tags.
Legitimate "pass".....would be a small 8-pointer that wouldn't go 80". I've got a lot of deer.....just not a lot of BIG ones.

My first year bowhunting,( 2 1/2 years ago), I passed a spike several times. My second year bowhunting, (last season), I didn't pass a spike! I also killed a 7 point that went about 80". This year if its not 100" or better it walks. Does get no passes BTW.

I would say my biggest pass was around 110-115, 8 point. Knew there were bigger deer in the area but never got to see one.
Bowhuntercop, beautiful buck. That wouldnt happen to be the rack that is over at Rob's for a while was it? If so you and your buddys were some lucky individuals to hunt that big bow.

I pass on a couple of 115"-120" 2.5 year olds nearly every year. I just won't shoot one under 3.5 years old off of the family farms. Now, come the late season on public land??? That is another story.
To me, a 3.5 year old with alesser scoringrack than a large2.5 year old is still a "trophy". Just the way I look at things.
