For all of you drop away rest guys. Does the additional moving parts not concern you? There are a lot of thins that could go wrong...........

Fair question, Gus.

No. It doesn't scare me. I've shot thousands of arrows through mine with NO issues. There's a Possibility that the moving parts (my bow limbs loading) might break, too....but I don't dwell on things that have never happened to me 9or my equipment).

That's an honest answer.

I know that the movement of limbs happen and I quess I feel like that is something that cannot be controlled IMO.

The moving parts of a rest would scrare me and that is the main reason I have never considered using one. What if that little cord stretches, wouldn't that cause a change in you aarow flight?.......or breaks? Do you carry extra parts for it just in case?

I would be second guessing that thing while on stand to the point it would drive me crazy.I am sure it works great, but the "What if" is enough to keep me away........

GUS:

Just like with ANY piece of hunting equipment (or anything else)......we rely on past experiences to form our individual opinions of the "risks" we're willing to take.....or the side effects of utilizing a specific piece of equipment we're willing to live with.

I respect your choice. Your rest has never failed you. The one I use, now, never has, either.

I agree.Feeling comfortable with your equiptment is the main thing. I hope I didn't make you paraniod!!!!:) I thought about that after I typed it.

Boy it doesn't take much for Atlas to get you GMMAT. If you're that bothered why not just not reply to anyof his posts or comments? I don't really want you to do that though because I find it all way too entertaining. Keep up the good work guys. BTW I love my WB. If it makes any noiseI don't think it could possibly be any louder than my heartbeat at the moment of truth. JMHO
