Default Which to choose...

I know this is a sensitive topic with mostly everyone saying, which one feels best to you is the one to go with BUT the two bows I have my heart set on are identical to me and I just need some response to aid in my decision. I am currently deciding between:

Hoyt Vectrix
Bowtech Tribute

Here is my input. The Vectrix is a little smoother on the draw and I do like the slightly wider grip but the Tribute is a tad faster and has less bow movement after shot. To me, these bows are neck and neck. I have shot the Guardian and I think it is a little to harsh on the draw. I have shot the Vulcan and it just isn't as smooth as the Vectrix. I have shot the Allegiance and I like the Tribute better. I have shot a PSE (don't remember the model) and theres too much vibration.

I like the look of the Vectrix more, however I like the camo on the Tribute better. Any input is appreciated.

(Oh yeah, I shot them both with my eyes closed and it felt like I was shooting almost identical bows.)

That is just it.....the top bow manufaturers products are so idenical. So this one is truely up to you....so with one you shoot the best with and feels the best. There isn't a right answer. Even though I shoot a Bowtech, I can't tell you to go with a Bowtech, because Hoyt puts out a nice bow also.

If both feel identical to you and price is comparable..then you only have to ask yourself 1 question.

Am I a "me too" guy, Or do I wish to be a little different than most??

If you like to be in the Group buy a Hoyt...most do.

If you wish to walk with a little swagger and be different..buy a Bowtech!

A year ago I was in the same boat as you. I shot the Tribute, Switchback XT and the Hoyt. Came down to the SB and Tribute and I chose the Tribute because I was just a little more proud to own it over the Mathews. I also liked the fact that Bowtech contributes a portion of their sales to the military, which has nothing to do with performance of the bows. If one of the bows tugs at your heart and gives you a little more pride of ownership than that might be your choice. The good thing is you can't go wrong with either one.

Are the prices identical? If not, go with the cheaper one. If they are identical, then flip a coin. That way it is all up to fate.

Here is what you do; take your mother-in-law to the shop. Ask her which one she likes better. After she answers, take the one she didn't pick.

If she still doesn't understand what you're trying to say, slap her across the face!

Killer Primate...that was great!

Okay, so fate it is...I am going to flip a coin. Heads for Hoyt and Tails for bowTech.

And the winner is.....

Bowtech! Holy Crap...wasn't expecting that! Guess I will be picking up my new Bowtech tomorrow.

Thanks everyone.
