3D targets for camp
#1
Well last night I went w/ my dad to one of our monthly hunting camp meetings. The idea about having a 3d competition this summer came up, and I sorta volunteered...I say sorta because it is not a definate go yet. I'm asking for some help from some of you guys that are into 3D. The most amount of $ I would most likely be aloted is $1000. Keep in mind this isnt a large scale competition or anything, its about a dozen guys that hunt, and feel like some friendly shooting. With this money what targets do you guys suggest, and what is a resonable number(I'm thinking 5 targets). I want to have a couple different targets...deer,bear,coyote,turkey,and so on, but I would rather have a few quality targets then several crap ones. Just give me companies and models that you guys like, and list their price. Well this has been long enough[8D], thanks for helping out.

I just bought a Glen Dale...not the "full rut", but the one just below that one...and I really like it. It takes field tips and broad heads really well and the arrows pull much easier than most other targets. I paid $169 at Bass Pro.

If your looking for some good 3D targets at a good price then you should check out ( www.rinehart3-d.com ) they have a nice selection.
You can get a broadhead buck for $ 190.67 , a racoon for $ 159.41 , a small bear for $ 160.88 , a wolverine for $188.23 and a turkey for $ 190.06.
Throw in another 50 maybe 60 dollars and you can get that GlenDel Buck like mine.

I would say you can get a good variety for 1200 bones but I would save up for a cool one like caribou elk grizzly ect
just remembered antelope are a real neat target.
