I use an older bear bow that I am very happy with. I shoot 85lbs. and have no problem with it. I also shoot heavey arrows so I get super penitration.

Hunting setup - 71#'s
3D - 64#'s

My opinion.....but if you can't put your sight pin on your target and draw your bow straight back......you're over-bowed.

I am drawing 53lbs on my indoor bow, and 70lbs on my 3D and hunting bows.

I shoot at 64# just because that is sort of where it ended up. I keep thinking about going up to 70# but I just can't convince myself that there is any real advantage. 6 fps just doesn't seem all that important to me.

I have the 04 Bowtech Liberty with 80lb limbs. It's maxed at 79lbs. Feels and pulls like 70lbs or less withits smooth big wheel system. I am 5'10" 195 lbs.

I have been shooting 74# with a 12 year old Alpine ... just got the call that my Drenalin is in ... 70# ... I am 5'11" and none of your business lbs [8D]

I have mine set at 60 right now. I'm5'11 1/2and 135 pounds. I can pull like 80 or so butI prefer to stick with 60. I can hold it forever at full draw.
