when all this new gear comes out; all anyone has to go off of is the design, people will comment on the design aspect and wether it appeals to them. After the initial effects of design wear off people actually start to get a chance to handlethe new gear and try it out first hand.

I also spend alot of time playing paintball and the same thing happens with new paintball gear, some equipment appeals to us in design but the actual functionality of it will determine wether we would buy and use such products. I have to admit I really don't like the camo pattern on my Hoyt magnatech but I really like how it shoots so function won out over design.
