well im sure everyone can remember when we were first introduced to the new 2007 bows. Everyone thought the Guardians were ugly, "man id never buy one of those things". And now look at how many are being sold and how now they are they greatest thing since sliced bread. Also I remember comments about the vectrix being somewhat ugly. I heard people say they hated the black eccentrics and now look at how many have been sold? Its wild how opinions change [8D]

I don't necessarily think its minds being changed so much as a lot of people just have to keep up with the Jones' so to speak.

I still think they're kind ofugly design wise, but I wouldn't mind owning one.

How about when Hoyt went strictly with the truss design? People hated the looks and said they would never buy them.[8D]Yeah,things do change.


I personally don't give a rats but what they look like,as long as they shoot accurate.I also don't put alot of stock in how smoothe they are at the shot(within reason),as long as it drives tacks,the rest I can deal with.

I thought the more open design of the riser would make it harder for animals to recognise as a bow. that part i didn't mind but it didnt go any faster than last years bow tech bows so ill pass, thanks any ways.

You mean animals can recognize a bow now?

Are you serious about that first comment? And second speed isn't everything. I shot this bow a few days ago, and it has virtually no hand shock and is hands down the quietest bow on the market. And it shoots the same speed as your switchback.

To answer the question tho, I think opinions changed because they were used to certain desings and such, and when something new came out many didnt know what to think of it. Then people started shooting the bows once they came outand realized how sweet most of the new bows really were.

It's the same thingEVERY year, especially on the forums. Once some folks see any new product they seem to be immediately skeptical and then start with the negative comments. It amazes me the number of folks that can bash products that they know absolutely nothing about and possibly haven't even seen! I personally think far to many folks are just to negative for their own good in the first place. Well, now that the new '07 line-ups of Hoyt, Mathews and BowTechhave proven to be outstanding bows many of these nay-sayers and being forced to eatcrow served with a side of humble pie!

I remember when Hoyt went stricktly cam 1/2 and dropped the solo's.
