Most depends on terrain. Its hard to put a blind on an incline. Also one area I hunt there are no trees big enoungh to put a stand in were deer come into feild.

Pros and Cons to both. It really does depend on the terrain and what kind of woods you're hunting.

Thick East Texas and South Texas, get off the ground you can cover more shooting lanes.

Central and West Texas, where its a little more open between thickets, and the Tree tops of the thickets are too thick to shoot through, I think a well made natural cover ground blind works wonders.

But you gotta do you're homework either way!

I think a tree stand works way better.

I agree with and like a lot of what others have already said. I usually hunt from a stand, but do use a blind as well. It depends on what area and cover that I hunt, regarding what I will use.

i would rather be in a tree, but there are times and situations where the trees aren't really climable (South Texas) or a spot that is in a cutover where there aren't any trees but deer are coming through. That's why I made the decision this year to buy a ground blind in addition to my climber.
