I just walk to my stand the same way that I'd walk down the street. I just figure that they will hear me so why take so much time. Soon after you stop making noise they don't worry about it anymore. In fact sometimes deer are curious about sounds, but usually not the sneaky sounds.

because they live in the woods everyday and they know the difference between a human and a deer.

Tie a couple of old catchers mitts to your feet and they'll think you're a bear.

That may be a hard approach to pitch…
But they do say hunting is “catch as catch can”…
Bet that one threw you for a curve…
