I have heard it many times! Can not and will not go there.I can hear the conversation now.My wife saying let me see you shave your arm pits this time of year, you wont touch me for fear of me getting perfume on you,you tie up the washing machine, there is baking soda all over the place, all of your clothes are in tupperware containers, you wont touch the dogs, you shower before you go out in to frigid weather and now you want what?
Not worth the humiliation that would follow!!!

This is scary, but some of the scent products dont smell that bad once you get use to them. Am I the only one that thinks that?

No brang05, I also have grown to like these scents. As a matter of fact I really like the smell of red fox pee. Not so much I want to spray it on in place of cologne or use as a bathroom spray but I do like it.

Hey all, my wifes uncle said that you can use your wifes tampons instead of buying scent products, I know this probrablysounds gross and to all the female hunters I hope I don't offend you by this question isn't ment that way, ButI was just wondering is there any truth to this or is he pulling my leg, Thanks
I think he was talking about shark hunting!

Seriously, I have used new tampons to lay a scent trail, but you have to make sure they are the unscented kind. I don't use them anymore because I found they absorbed too much of the urine/lure. In other words a less absorbant drag rag is more efficient.

I would say that the scent might or might not be recognizable to the deer, more than likely it does not smell the same as when a doe is in estrous. The most likely reason they are not spooked or are attacted to it is because they do not associate that smell with humans, because i'm sure little or no deer have smelled that before. As far as the urine goes, whitetail deer and humans are both mammals and we secrete relatively the same waste, except our differences in diet would change the contents. That said i dont think human urine is a big thing to worry about but i still do not pee in the woods.
