I would say that the scent might or might not be recognizable to the deer, more than likely it does not smell the same as when a doe is in estrous. The most likely reason they are not spooked or are attacted to it is because they do not associate that smell with humans, because i'm sure little or no deer have smelled that before. As far as the urine goes, whitetail deer and humans are both mammals and we secrete relatively the same waste, except our differences in diet would change the contents.That said i dont think human urine is a big thing to worry about but i still do not pee in the woods.
