Hey all, my wifes uncle said that you can use your wifes tampons instead of buying scent products, I know this probrablysounds gross and to all the female hunters I hope I don't offend you by this question isn't ment that way, ButI was just wondering is there any truth to this or is he pulling my leg, Thanks

I've heard the same thing, but there is NO WAY I'm gonna be trying that anytime soon. I'll pay the $6 for a bottle of doe estrous...

Are you sure he didnt mean to use a NEW tampon to hold and distribute scent because I have heard of that before. In terms of using a used tampon, that is straight up nasty and disgusting.[:'(]

man none of you guys musta been around previous years.

this comes up EVERY year. i forget what the survey says..besides its gross...but i think theres some guys that do it and have success doing it. guess that smell smells the same...i also heard of guys peeing in scrapes..say deer dont know whose pee it is...guess anything is possible.

No guys it really works i swear it really does. ive done it. a does estrus cycle is ver very similar to a womans, there for the scent is amost exact.

A doe in estrous = most fertile time of year
Human in menses = least fertile time of month

It could work just based on the deer being curious, but it in no way would smell similar to a doe in heat

If my wife smelled like a bottle of tinks 69, I'd be kickin her smelly rump to the curb;)
