I prefer to stand. If it is a single deer and I think I can stand I will stand. But, if there are multiple deer around and there is a chance they will bust me, I have no problem taking a sitting shot.

I shoot sitting. There is alot less arm movement when I sit and as people have said before, my pin seems more stable. When deer are around I hold my bow right around where my knees are. This way that arm is already straight and I only have to worry about pulling the string!

I always stand as soon as I see deer movement. I do practice sitting down and can take that shot if I had to. But I prefer to be standing.
