People shoot out at my place all the time. Its one day for a few hours. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

No, he's talking about going out there more than once to shoot. He thinks that because he'll be there during the middle of the day he won't disturb anything.

Did you make this decision tostay in good graces with someone? I think it's a real bad idea and it will effect the area at least to some degree.[:@] It sounds rather self-centered to me, just my opinion. You said he hasother options, try to get him to shoot elsewhere.

Bummer. Maybe he's just messing with you. Make it crysal clear you and your dad do not want him to do it.

Carry on as planed and don't blame him if things don't work out. You just need to crank things up a few notches. You can do it can't you? Of course you can!

Good Hunting! Show'm how it's done![8D]

IMO he's not respecting the work you have done in preperation for the season. I thinkit would be better ifyouAND your dad talked to him. There are other fieldswhere he can shoot at. There's no reason why he can't go shootthere. I don't think he will scare the deer off. I think they will change bedding area's and hit the field after dark.

2 years ago I did some shooting out to 300 yards with my 243 off and on all summer and early fall. I would squeeze off a few shots and use my 4 wheeler to set drop off and pick up a card board box witha target stapled on it. On opening morning or rifle season. I drove my truck the 300 yards off the road up against the timber, and then walked on in to where I was hunting at. 1/2 hour later a really nice 8 point stepped out into a wheat field. I blew that shot because of buck fever. My point is that buck didn't care about me shooting a rifle all summer and early fall not very far from where he was staying.
