I bought some muzzy 125 gr. from wal mart last year and shot a bear with one and it held up just fine.I try and only buy made in U.S.A., I was looking at all the import stuff going down an isle and the only thing I found in the camping section was a walking stick. The rest was made in china. We are marketing a piece of wood! Go figure.

Buy American ? Where do you thing most of the auto Parts for domestic cars come from? Not the USA . I worked in a factory that made "American Made" office equipment . A great deal of the parts came from Europe and Japan ...........

I would not doubt that some companies that have some batches or parts Fail"QC"(quality control)inspections ,get pitched into a resale bin at all. There are outlet malls all over this area, and I have bought clothes and fishing equipment from them and have asked the sales people before; how they could sell for so cheap, many have told me that they had imperfections or flaws(many minor)otherwise much product would go to waste.I don't know about muzzys though.I have never bought any from wally world, yet don't find this to be imposible.I recently bought a quality name brand box of pencils from them, and found that the lead wopuld keep breaking the more I sharpened them???[:@]

Walmart pitches and pressures all their vendors to go to overseas. I've read the book and seen the shows and do not patronize them.
Alan Jackson said it best.

An obscene amount of Walmarts employees are on government assistance (food stamps & health insurance)Who do you think picks up the tab for wally world?

Selling a product with even an implied claim that it is something that it is not is most definately illegal. If Wallmart or Muzzy is selling an inferior version of a Muzzy and doesn't make it clear on the labeling that it doesn't meet published specs then one or the other or both are opening themselves to prosecution. I'm sure there are hundreds of lawyers out there that would just love the chance to make a name for themselves by going after Wallmart over something like this. As far as I can see the claims here are just unsubstantiated bs by Wallmart bashers. I just don't buy a word of it.
It's almost a given that a large company like Wallmart can market a given product for less than a little pro shop simply because of their huge buying leverage. Think about it for 2 seconds. Just compare when your local pro shop calls muzzy and asks what is the best price they will give them on 50 heads vs wallyworld callsand asks fortheir bestprice on2 million. Who do you think is going to get the best deal per head? Wallmart doesn't have to cheat to bet the local pro shop price, they can do it easily.
