RE: WalMart stuff vs Proshop stuff?
Selling a product with even an implied claim that it is something that it is not is most definately illegal. If Wallmart or Muzzy is selling an inferior version of a Muzzy and doesn't make it clear on the labeling that it doesn't meet published specs then one or the other or both are opening themselves to prosecution. I'm sure there are hundreds of lawyers out there that would just love the chance to make a name for themselves by going after Wallmart over something like this. As far as I can see the claims here are just unsubstantiated bs by Wallmart bashers. I just don't buy a word of it.
It's almost a given that a large company like Wallmart can market a given product for less than a little pro shop simply because of their huge buying leverage. Think about it for 2 seconds. Just compare when your local pro shop calls muzzy and asks what is the best price they will give them on 50 heads vs wallyworld callsand asks fortheir bestprice on2 million. Who do you think is going to get the best deal per head? Wallmart doesn't have to cheat to bet the local pro shop price, they can do it easily.
