Or maybe he just wanted to sell you a thrower for$30more than walmart. The smallerproshops can't buy in the volume and command the lower initialcoststhatWalmart can, so they have to have a higher markup on products to cut a good profit. IfI read a few independentmarket studies supporting thelower quality walmart product theory, I mightbelieve it, but I'm not going to take theword of a walmart competitor whose trying to sell me what appears to be the same product at a much higher price. Not saying he's lying to you,but he has a definate conflict of interest when it comes to selling you a product that walmart may be carrying at a lower cost. Kind of hard to believe anycompany that builds it's name onthe quality of it'sproducts would build a lower quality/substandardproduct, just for walmart, that could possible hurt it'soverall reputation andeventuallyit's overall sales figures. Sorry, not buying it.

I buy a lot of my hunting stuff from wal-mart. I was there last night and thay was putting out all of the hunting stuff I seen that thay will be selling Crimson Talon broadheads but thay was only $10.00 less than the ones in the Bass Pro book. I say I will be paying $10.00 more and buy from Bass pro or drive 25miles and buy some at the proshop.

My comments earlier were not meant as a Wal Mart bash as some suggested. Based on my experiences with camo clothing (zippers breaking and stitches falling out etc. it appears to me that the buying 2nd's theory that many claim could hold some credence. There are many many companies that do the same thing. I only wanted to share my experiences and others with the person that asked the question, not insult anyone who frequents the store. (but you won't see me there)

WalMart does more long-term damage to our nation's economy than 1000 terrorist bombings!

Wal-Mart is good for picking up diapers for your kids... I personally support the local guy if I can... Or go to a Pro Shop of some sort. Remember if you have an issue w/ you bow you are not going to take it to Wal-Mart to get it looked at.If you purchase from a specialty shop they will offer the services you need and if it's a minor thing they may not even charge you.

I stand by my earlier statement.I realize that mentioning terrorists in this day and age will strike a nerve in the so-called patriotic Americans who still believe that if you wave a flag (made in China) long enough that the economy will heal itself. The impact that WalMart has on our economy is to send manufacturing jobs overseas (how else can they sell things so cheap?), and drive down wages. This will have a snowball effect that will impact domestic auto sales, the restaurant industry, the tourism industry, airline industry, etc. Not to mention forcing the American manufacturers who have to compete for WalMarts business to decreasethe quality of their product. So Dbl Beard, perhaps you should bone up on economics (and spelling)!

There is one question that I would ask HuntinGUS. Has your set up change at all, different bow. different arrows ect. I highy doubt that muzzy would change there manufacturing process to please one store that sells their products. It would cost them more money then it would be worth, I would think. ButI could be wrong. Good luck at solving your problem.
