Default Carbon arrow exploded on me last night!

I know its been said before on this forum but please - INSPECT YOUR ARROWS BEFORE SHOOTING!!

Last night I was shooting my razortec w/ cx300's and one blew up when I released. The arrow split into three sections and bruised my wrist and whacked me in the neck. Luckily I got only bruises and scratches but I couldn't stop thinking about that guy with the arrow in his wrist. Scary man.

Glad to hear you're OK. Are you going to still stick with the carbons?

The carbons I shoot has it printed on the arrow to flex the arrow before each shot. I don't know if this is to find any cracks that may be inthem or to warm them up so to speak before the shot.

Glad you are alright. I am curious, do you use arrow wraps? I ask because I use them and have always wondered if they conceal cracks in my arrows.
