What kind of camo do you wear?

RE: What kind of camo do you wear?
My light camo is NatGear and my heavy camo is a mixture of Realtree grey (coveralls), Realtree Hardwoods grey insulated pants, and some Mossy Oak. When I save some more money I hope to buy some heavy NatGear clothing.

I pretty much agree and adhere to what Rick James said. Function over pattern for me. I deal with a good deal of extremes in weather and temperature. I hunt in 100 degree weather when the season opens and finish around 0 to minus tempsin late Dec. Between that rain, sleet and snow. I really really on my clothing to function properly by keeping me cool, warm, dry, odor minimized, etc. I do like the 3-D leaf coverall Ithrow over the top of most anything Iwearfor breaking up my outline, I rarely get busted and I think that has a lotdo to withgood background cover which I have anample amount of in the conifer forests I hunt inboth on the ground and in my stands. I think if Ibowhuntedin more open deciduous forests, like many HNI members do...( especially once the leaves fall off ) I would be more interested in the camo pattern design.

In all honesty, the pattern isn't as important to me as the material it is printed on. I will not wear cotton or any poly-cotton blends. In my opinion they fade too quickly despite whatever precautions you take and faded camo is worthless in my book.
Give me an outfit that is not cotton, is semi-water resistant and doesn't cost me more than $150 total and you would have a sale.
