Get a bar of soap and run it over the last 8 inches or so of the shaft.....

And like everyone else said - get a Rinehart. They are hands down the best 3-D targets out there. They stand up to the most abuse, the most shots, dont' weather nearly as bad as others, and are amazingly easy to pull arrows from compared to their competitors.
http://www.rinehart3d.com is their site. Well be redesigning it for them very shortly.

A spritz of fine machine oil like 3 in 1 on the last 8" of the arrow shaft helps , but DC's soap idea is easier to clean up .

Based on your feedback I started researching Rinhart targets. OH MY GOD! $400-500 for a target! I'd have to sell my bow to afford the target.
Does anybody know ofan affordable 3d target that you can pull carbon arrows from without lube or a hernia?

Hey,
My wife and daughter got me a Glen Dale Full Rut target for fathers day today and I have to say the arrows pull out real easy. I shoot carbons and I also have the block 4x4 and the arrows remove real easy on that one as well.
