3D Target Giving Me Hernias!
 

I shot 6 carbon arrows at my 3d target and nearly coudn't get them out!

Is there a good quality 3d target for carbon arrows that you can actually remove your arrows without needing arrow lube or hernia surgery?

Best 3D target made for pulling arrows are Reinhardts in my opinon. My local club has gone almost exclusively to Reinhardts. Easier to pull and lasts just as long.

I always used aluminum but I shoot with guys with carbon and I can't believe how tough it is to get them out of the target sometimes either. I know one guy uses some sort of lube that he rubs on prior to shooting and that seems to work pretty good, otherwise just keep pulling!

Get a bar of soap and run it over the last 8 inches or so of the shaft.....

I tried that once , gave the old lady the damndest rash ...

A spritz of fine machine oil like 3 in 1 on the last 8" of the arrow shaft helps , but DC's soap idea is easier to clean up .

I had the same problem with my Delta Buck. I shot about 2 dozen broadheads into it and haven't had a problen since.
