I am still unsure of what exactly was wrong with the thread that was deleted........other then it obviously ruffled the feathers of a sponsor. There were no improper facts.......all the facts were kept straight and many people spoke of their experiences both with the products and the material in question.
If you honestly believe that a product is a waste of money and someone asks about it..........what should you say??......Nothing?? That would be a terrible waste of one of this sites greatest resources IMO.....member input. I know if I was planning on buy a $500 bow or digital trail camera I would certainly come here first and ask everyone if they thought that was a good idea or not. I would hate to think that in the future people may not get honest feedback from members because it was deleted or just not posted. I don't see how that helps us all become better informed consumers.
I probably wouldn't have a Summit stand or a Bowtech bow if I didn't hang out here.......I also may have spent my hard earned money on some real junk if I hadn't read about it here first. I hope that in the future people are not afraid to post something negative about a product because I for one am thankful that the knowledge of all the members here is so vast that I can ask about nearly anything an get a good answer..........and yea, sometimes that good answer is "That is junk.....don't waste your money" My thoughts on that are the only companies with anything to fear from that kind of environment are the ones that hear that comment the most.

Yeah you better watch out because next we're gonna come to your house and restrict your right to own a firearm.

Although the owners of this site can make the rules that they wish, I think that these types of rules are an infringement on the first amendement. Whats next? Number 2?

Atlasman !
Good post ,I agree .
We must also remember what ever we talk about here on this forum ,could be debated by other's in an unruling manner .There have been known to be member's that will argue over any little thing here .So because I made a post on my finding's on X brand and another disagree's ,Im not allowed to defend my right's to why I feel this way about xBrand. I understand that the arguing need's to stop ,but shouldn't we pay more attention to the one's that cause the problem's .

I think there is a huge difference in stating I used product X and these were my results. To, I have never used product X, but I can tell you it is junk, bad sceince it will never work. The company that sells it is pulling the wool over your eys and has you fooled.
Reviews of products I believe will always be welcome here, bashing a product because you "don't think it works" should not be allowed.
Just goes back to Mathews, how many people claimed the single cam was junk and did not work? If this site and others were up 14 years ago you wonder if Mathews would be so successful. They would have been bashed. I had one in 1992, and every 3D shoot I went to I was told what a piece of junk it was. They worked on the bow, and year after year they kept getting better. Now, they sell a pile of bows. With a system many claimed was "junk"
