has ne1 heard the new bow rule pope and young made? it says that now starting january 1st, any amount of let-off will be accepted previous to the 65% maxium. also people who have tried to enter previously but were turned down because of having a bow with more than 65% let-off will be able to be rescored. BUT any bow that has more than 65% let-off and is allowed into pope and young if all other rules are met will have an asterisk next to their name to show they used a bow with more than 65% let-off.
personally, i think this is good because if u shoot a deer with a bow, u have already beaten the odds. (only 1 out of every 10 bowhunters is expected to get a deer with a bow) so i agree with the new rule and now many more people will be a part of pope and young because of it.
what are your thoughts on the new rule?
