By what you have written I am not clear whether the land is posted and whether it is legal to discharge a weapon there. You wouldn't be normal if the thought didn't cross your mind!

Everyone sees nice places and thinks about man if I could only get into there to hunt. But the temptation of trying to get in a place, regardless of how many or how big the deer are just ain't worth the price of being caught. Ruining things for yourself and the hunter image in general.
Take a shot at asking, good luck getting permission.

I'm not sure if Community College Property is considered Private Property. If it is puplic property, I'm not sure if anyone can legally restrict hunting on it. It may be puplic property. There is a Federal Law about bringing weapons on School Proprty that I do know of, but I don't know if it applies to colleges. I also don't know if the area that you would like to hunt is in an area where it is illegal to discharge a weapon including distances from structures. Better do some digging. You definetely should not hunt there until you are sure it is legal to do so.

I have been told that it is public property but they do restrict weapons on school grounds such as knives and guns. I don't know if this would be the same for the time in between semesters though. We get 5 weeks off from december 12 through the end of january.
