Go to www.google.com and enter luminol in search. You will get law enforcement suppliers (Sirchie is one) and their prices will be higher...most of the time. Look for cheaper prices. However, you may end up having to purchase from a police supplier.

Get the premixed spray. The mixing type is too much trouble.

I do not know if the "Starlight Bloodhound" product contains the same compounds as Luminol, but if it does, Thundergut may not have realized that what he was seeing might have been sprayed (blown) blood droplets, everywhere. Seeing larger areas of blood presence with a fluorescer is not uncommon.

Tracking deer is the best part of the hunt other than shooting them. The traditional way is the best. The most effective way is to get about five to six people and good light. I like tracking deer alot! Especially in the morning cause then i dont have to go to school until later. I also have to go to bed at 10:00 every night(parents) so when i get one or someone calls and asks me to help them track one i got to stay up late!

Coleman Lanterns are best with a back up of peroxide.

This year I tracked one liver hit and one gut shot animal. Mine was the liver hit. Though I am happy and proud with my success, I must admit the hands and knees tracking was EXTREMELY exhilarating and very rewarding to say the least.

Here in the Pacific Northwest I have not used Coleman Lanterns because it is usually very dry and I consider it very dangerous. I am a firm believer in Murphy's Law and it would be my luck to trip and start a forest fire . . . but have used them in Ohio and PA with great success.
