I have never harvested a deer and never will. I have killed every deerI have taken.Call a spade a spade! The anti hunters and the non hunters are not ignorant people. They know what kill means. They may not like the word but they should accept it for what it is. It drives me totaly insane when poeple have to be P. C. And as for respecting the animal.... once they are dead there is no more respecting it. The only respect we owe the animal is that we kill ( notdispatch ) (There is another sugar coated word for ya) the animal quickly andcleanly by being proficient with our weapon of choice. Now lets all get out there and kill a deer!!! By the way I also practice catch and release with my boogers![:-]

I think thats whats wrong with alot of people today is that they are so far from the hand of death they lost that killing is a part of life andthats the wayitwas ment to be .

What I mean is that years ago when you wanted to eata pig you went out and killed it for your family know you got kids out there that dont know that the pork chop they ate was once alive and kicking . The farther are children get away from the hand of death the less and less hunters we will have .

I use harvest because I don't refer to choosing a deer to shoot as killing, it is hunting, I think harvesting fits it better, because I am not there to kill every damn thing, I am there to "harvest" a quality buck and thats it.
