hunting in mid october

What locations are best to hunt bucks in the middle of october around the 20th or so. i think this is called the october lull...

If you have not found any new rub lines I would hunt food sources, acorns especially.

I would agree with the doe suggestion. I still try to focus on food sources until closer to Halloween then focus almost exclusively on does and/or escape routes (lots of pressure in my neck of the woods).
