I used to use skunk scent as a cover scent but have been unable to find it anywhere. Its from an old bottle so I cant even remember who made it. All it took was a little bit in a film canister of cotton and once opened it completely covered any human scent!!! Has anyone seen this anywhere? Where can i get some more. Thanks

dantheman........When I was a kid bowhunting (17 years ago) I used skunk scent. I haven't seen it around latey but I'm sure you can get it. Its sort of funny, years later, each time I get a whif of skunk it brings back tons of great old memories when I was a young bowhunter. It really makes me want to hunt. My wife is convinced I'm nuts!
Hope you find it!

Down here in Texas you can find it in any Oshmans or Academy sporting goods store. In my opinion that's the best cover scent there is. I goto extremes to control my scent and wear a scent-lok suit, and use skunk oil for cover scent. I hunt on the ground mostly and have been very successful.

My skunk scent is by Rickards. I don't remember where I bought it but I'm getting low.
I have used it since 1965. I have had Whitetail buck and one cow Moose literally put their noses on my trail and follow it without hesitation. I have shot 6 bucks and 3 does in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio in this way; the Cow Moose was not legal for me to shoot . . . I couldn't have missed.
