I bought my Outback last year and I love it. It pretty quick, quiet and it shoot like a dream. If you want to talk groups, this thing can do it, the only problem is you will need more arrows.... I practice with broad heads and I have 4 or 5 arrows where the fletching has been shaved off by other arrows because the arrows group so tightly together. It’s a great bow, you are going to love it...

I love my Outback. With a 28.5 inch draw @70lbs and Easton Epic 400 cut to 27.5 inches with a 100 grain tip I get 279 fps. As far as groups go it will shoot as tight as you let it.

Why didnt you get the switchback it's about the same price.Just joking it is a fine bow.The only reason I asked was because you are asking about speed and switchback is faster????????

Why are you stealing half of my handel? Outbacks are great bows, I shoot a Switchback and a Diamond. You should be able to shoot awsome groups at 40 yds, and I would say in a hunting set up with your draw length you are shooting around 260 fps. Peace!
