I won't let anything stop me from shooting my bow. I live in the country, so shooting in my yard isn't a problem.

BUT, I have shot in my house, in the basement, and several times in my buddy's garage. If you want to practice, then just do it. The wife has to leave sometime.

Last night I was able to shoot 50 arrows in the time it took to grill 4 pork chops. Turn the chops, shoot 10 arrows, marinate, turn again 10 more arrows, take adrink of beer.

Marinate, turn, shoot, drink........................

I generally shoot a few days a week from March to January, and pick up the pace as the season gets closer. For some reason I put my bow away for the month of February and clean my gear and repair and paint my stands.

I never stop shooting. If I can't get to the park with the archery range, I drive 45 minutes to my club. If I don't want to do that (price of gas) I shoot at 7 yards in the basement.

My skill level is not where I want it to be and if I lay off any significant time, I can see the deterioration in my groups.

We have a "no shooting in residental areas" law around here too. That's why I hung a bag in the basement.

Good shooting!
