Default tru ball release

i recently had a tru ball tornado fail on me causing damage to me and the bow. when i called the company they asked if i was using a string loop (duh yes) they told me to read the pakage. i said i did. they said did you read the print next to the upc code.(dang must of missed that)it seys in small print. not to use with thinly braided rope loops.(duh) my loop was 2mm. they said you can only use there loops for the release to operate correctly(bs) has anyone else had any problems with this type of release.[:@]

I use a Tru-Fire hurricane for a release and have had no problems at all. I think they are made by the same company?

My friend got a truball a couple of weeks ago and the thing would go off three inches in draw and go about 3feet. then they adjusted that screw behind the trigger and it was fine. don't know if that was it.
