Is ASAT an effective camo, and if so are there any more effective camos, like Nat. Gear or something. I live in Iowa and do a lot of bowhunting, but I would like something versatile for the Fall.

Well I like Realtree Hardwoods HD... I think it is by far the best out there... But I also really like NaturalGear camo... It is very good as well... I have used ASAT as well and it does work just fine... I think it is a little light though... Sittin up in a dark pine, it kinda stands out...

Have you tried the leafy 3-D stuff? I'd be afraid of the "leafs" getting ripped off because they look kind of flimsy

I have the 3-D leafy ASAT suit. The leaves are not sewn on the fabric. There are strips of fabric that are cut down the middle. They are cut at odd angles to make the leaves stick out. ASAT is a great pattern for any condition. I have used it in tall grasses, in a hardwood tree, and in a pine. I blend right in. I will take a pic of the leaves and show you in a couple of minutes.

Check out the Predator line of clothing. I have the Spring Green suit and it has held up very well. I also have thinsulate bibs in the Fall Gray pattern as well......its great for late season hunting. I am hoping to purchase the Predator Deception camo for next season.

I haven't used them yet, but the Predator line that Cougar Mag mentioned seems to really work well at breaking up your outline against the background:

That is a good camo suit! I couldn't find him right away. The only reason I did end up spotting him was his arrow fletching. It does an excellent job at breaking up his outline.
