I'm thoroughly convinced that my Peet boot dryer is one of the finest inventions of the last 100 years. I don't know what I would do without that thing. They make a great X-mas gift too!

I don't know how anybody who hunts regularly, especially on back to back days can make it without one of those neat toys.

I was out elk hunting this morning - minus 7 degrees at sunrise - warmed up to plus 3 degrees by 10 AM - with the Arctic Shield boot blankets and the toe warmers. All three of my buddies were complaining of frozen feet. The only time my feet got cold was when I had to put my regular boots back on for a twenty minute walk back to the truck.

I wear the Lacrosse Iceman Boots myself. Its been a very durable and warm boot. Here in Minnesota we get below zero temps alot and I haven't had to many problems with cold feet yet. There 8 years old and still are just as warm as they were when I bought them. I think you can replace the liners in them too when they get wore out. There are many good boots out there. Good luck!

We seem to have progressed beyond "if your feet are cold, put on a scarf."

I wear Muck boot Woody Max boots with Filson Merino wool socks. I have half of the guys at the cabin in them when the weather gets cold.

Anybody tried those Artic Shield slip-on boot covers?
I have them, I haven’t tried them yet but going to sit in the stand tomorrow. I was told that the secret to them is you have to put them on right after you get to your stand or blind. If you wait until your feet get cold then the blood is now being shunted away from your feet so your body core temp doesn’t drop (natural response)

Also they are not for walking only sitting, I wish mine has the magnets instead of Velcro I think the new versions due but the hole that your boot fits into is smaller which I don’t understand.

Anyway I will report when I give them a try. They were 45.00 from my outfitter.
