Default Broken sight pins

I'm tired of having sight pins break when I'm out walking through the brush. I've seen a few sights that claim to have solved this problem. I'm also a lefty, which limits my bowsight options (to my dismay). What does everyone else use to minimize pin breakage?

I use trophy ridge(personally) or other brand/model sight that has steel pins with the bright fiber wound inside pin guard. Since I started using this style sight I havn't had any pin breakage whatsoever.

Impact archery makes a few sights with steel pins. You can't break those. I love my sight. Very durable.

I assume you're talking about the fiber optics breaking and not the actual pin itself. Several sights offer a lot better pin rpotection than a year ago: Spott Hogg has a wrapped fiber pin guard to retrofit some of theri sights, and Cobra has adopted the Toxonic's metal optic pin (MOP). Any of the three of those are worth looking into. Also check out fitzfiber.com they offer aftermarket fibers that are brighter and more supple than factory fibers.
