Montana elk decoy(s) . . . which one?
I'm going to get a Montana elk decoy before this years elk seasons.
But, I can only afford one. So I appeal to any of you with experience with these decoys to help me choose which one.
Elk I: side view
Elk II: the ass
Elk III: frontal view
I'm posting this in a couple places forgreater response.
Thanks!

I have only used the Elk I, but have had good luck with it. I like the size because I can hold it up in front of mewithmy bow hand and draw at the same time. I used this technique to walk to within 40 yards of a heard of about 20 elk.

I kinda like the rear end view. Figure that if someone comes along in a trigger happy mood, you would hope that they wouldn't fire at the south end of a northbound elk. And by the time they figured out there was no broadside shot, they would be able to tell this was a decoy.
