RE: MUZZY 3-BLADE OR 4-BLADE
Wisc, I won a 3 pack of 3 blade, 100 gr. Muzzy's at a recent charity shoot. Send me a message with your mailing address and I'll get them off to you. I'll never use them.

RE: MUZZY 3-BLADE OR 4-BLADE
I used the 4-blade Muzzy with my Bear XLR with excellent results. When I switched to my Bowtech Patriot the 3-blade Muzzy grouped better with the improved speed. Both went through the bone with complete passthrus. I know of someone who used Slicktricks and liked them well also. Shot placement is the key my friend. Shoot whatever groups for you.

I've been shooting 100 grain 4 blade muzzy for 4 years. Harvested numerous deer and a bear with none going more than 60 yards. They have always shot great and pentrated outstanding. I practice with the practice blades so it stays dead on when I have the blade in as well. I have never shot the 3 bladers.

RE: MUZZY 3-BLADE OR 4-BLADE
when I first started reading and researching bow hunting and bows & equipment (about 6-7 years ago) on book simply stated the pros and cons for the 2
- 3 blade - better flight (to some degree), more penetration, less gutting ability
- 4 blade - the opposite
i went with the 3 blade Muzzy and have been pleased

I use both and both fly true. I have my maxima 250's tipped with 100gr muzzys! No need to change or try anything different! It ain't broke so no need to try and fix it!!

i've shot both the 3 blade 100's and 4 blade 100's as well as 4 blade 90 grain
so far i've killed deer with all three. . .i shoot a PSE 300gr radial x weave pro w/ a 2004 PSE Bruin bow topped with the lightning 3 cam.
i think either will work as long as u get a good clean shot, but even if ya don't get the shot of a lifetime, last year i hit a big buck with the 4 blade 90 gr and the 28" arrow sank straight through one sholderblade and punctured the other (all that was stickin out of his sholder was 4" of arrow with feathers) the buck locked up and hobbled off 200yds before i saw him drop, but that broadhead busted right through his sholder. . . my advice, either will kill. . . .
