Default muzzy 4 blade vs. 3 blade broadheads

I was curiouse what you think would do more damage to a deer. ? I was looking at them the other day, and it was either a 4 blade with a 1" diameter, or a 3 blade with a 1 3/16" diameter.

I didn't know if it was better to have another blade, or the bigger diameter, what do you guys think?

i've used the 4 blade 90gr. for a couple of years and have really good results. i think having the extra blade is a big advantage if you would happen to make a not so perfect shot you have the chance of nicking an artery or the lungs if your a lil off. i have made a few shots like this because i didn't stop the deer and landed my arrow a lil further back than i wanted and got liver and lungs, there was great blood and both deer at the end of my trail. it's just a preference really.

Either one has it's own SLIGHT advantage, neither of which is worth worrying about. Each of those "advantages" could also been seen as disadvantages if one really wanted to nitpick. An extra blade or larger diameter could also be the difference in making contact with bone or not. They're both going to perform, so just pick what you prefer.

I believe that the Advantage or Disadvantage or either or is so Miniscule that there is nothing to worry about

I shoot the odd weight 115 gr 4 blade , I love them but shoot what groups better for you . I agree either 3 or 4 blades will kill deer cleanly if you do your part !!!!

More blades= more cuts=more damage .
don't mean to argue but...

more blades also = more resistance on penetration.
