I shot this doe this evening with my 7 year old in the stand. He took the pic so it's kinda blurry. She was 125 lbs on the hoof and 3.5 yrs old. Shot with T/C encore, 110 grains BH209, 300 grain Nosler partition and MMP orange sabot. It was a chip shot 50 yard shot and she was DRT.

Thanks to all the well wishers. I wish you could have seen my little hunter. He sat in the stand with me over 3 hours. He was fidgety at times and occasionally wanted to play, but he had so much fun seeing all the birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and finally deer. When it came down to crunch time, he was still and quite as a mouse, enabling me to get the shot. Then when it was all over he high-fived me and said 'Let's go see him Dad!'
This is not the first time I took him. Heres a pic of him a week ago. We were coming out of the woods and he walked past my Leaf river IR trail cam!
