Kinda says something about the effect of BC over a 100 yards. I am sure those Precision DC's have a hefty BC. But, I am also certain of what the .458 Nosler will do to an elk.

This rifle was sighted in for 110 gr 2f T7 and a 300 gr Nosler Partition. 3 inches high at 100 yds. The 340's @ 110 2f T7 shot to the same point of impact. Odd

I was comparing the drop from that card Chapman had posted.http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=2936897
The card said 8.85 inch of drop from 100 - 200 w/ 100 gr T7. My figures showed a 9.58 drop w/ 100 gr T7 using PR's BC (.376)and 9.39 drop w/ 110 gr T7 using a corrected BC of .280
The difference could be due to different barrel lengths and guns???
Time to go wake the boy's, have some breaky and go make some smoke.

Now go shoot the DC and see what the ACTUAL drop is. PR inflates all their BCs, some wildly. If you read their methodology, they calculate by computer, then shoot, and take the HIGHER of the two measurements and publish it!
