The terroist of the stinging insect world is the yellow jacket a wasp. They build nest lots of different places including the ground. they seem to attack and sting for no more reason than you near to them.
I do the water bottle and milk jug traps for them. Drill a 3/8" hole near the top of the bottle/jug. Fill it half full of dishsoapy water and apply jam, jelly just inside the 3/8" hole. I Like to fill the cap with the sweet stuff.
Any way hereis apicture of the nesting box with bees.
Here is one of the vac with me up the ladder.
